Beautiful day, Beautiful Ride
Another beautiful Veterans Day Ride. Perfect weather and the biggest group we have had in years!
Our plan is always the same, Start on Sunday at 11am. Although we never start at eleven, the group is always on time. No rush, we usually dont head off riding until 11:45,
we chat and catch up. Most of us haven't been together for at least a year. A time to check out bikes that for the most part are Vintage Raleighs. Known to some as "The Raleigh Ride, anything goes. Some of the bikes and riders that show are always fascinating. Its a "Show and Go". Some of the nicesest bikes in Southern New England have been part of "Veterans Day Ride" for over 40 years now. Not always on Veterans Day, November 11, at 11:00am, we always do the ride in the Fall.
The ride kicked off at 11:46 as planned. We stayed together for a while. The ride is only 5.5 miles
Dave Sorta out standing in the field taking the group ride by video. You can see Ed Harrow on the side walking his 1938 Raleigh Record Ace, fixed gear, too high geared for off road riding!
